Options:
--------
If the game runs a bit slow (on a '030 processor for example)
try turning the 'Animate Cards' option off.
Playing Instruction:
--------------------
Select 'New Rubber' from the 'Game' menu. You will be dealt
your cards and be asked to bid. Make a bid by clicking in one
of the visible bid rectangles. If the 'Give hints' option is on
the suggested bid will be framed in green (gray in B&W). The
bidding will proceed clockwise until there is a bid winner. If
the bid winner is you you will receive the kitty.
Now you are holding 13 cards with 3 of them raised. The 3
raised cards are the kitty cards. If the 'Give hints' option is on
there will also be three cards with red (black in B&W) tags on
the top left corner. These cards are the recommended discards.
Select your discards by clicking on cards to raise and lower
them. When you have the three cards you wish to discard
raised, click on the 'Discard' button in the lower left corner
of□□□□□ the screen.
Now you will have 10 cards. Select one to play by clicking
on it. If the 'Give hints' option is on the suggested card will
be marked with a green (gray in B&W) tag on the top left
corner. On the left of the screen is our score (the score of
the north-south team) and on the right is the score of the
opposition (the east-west team). Under the scores are the
tricks won by that team. The last trick won by either team is
coloured red (dark in B&W). Above the score of the team that
won the bidding is the winning bid.
To change the game options select 'Options...' from the 'Game'
menu. The meaning of each option is given in the options dialog
box.
